Many were wondering what prompted Lakeisha Holloway to intentionally drive her car onto the crowded Las Vegas strip, Sunday night. New details have since emerged following the incident that may shed some light on this tragic situation.
According to TMZ, Holloway had apparently been dealing with financial issues for 2 years now. She’s been couch hoping since January 2014, after she had been evicted from her apartment in Washington state.
Family members welcomed Lakeisha with open arms from time to time but she’s never had a permanent place to stay.
Apparently Lakeisha had just been in Texas visiting her 3-year-old daughters baby daddy when she told her family that she would be traveling through Vegas on her way back to Oregon, in hopes of finding a job.
Holloway told police that she was unable to get a good nights rest in Vegas, days leading up to the crash, because she kept getting kicked off of hotel properties for sleeping in her car.
