TSR first broke the news on Ray J and Princess Love’s back in October when Princess had exclusively confirmed it to us on the BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet. Well it seems as though the couple have been very tight lipped about the engagement until now. Ironically enough the couple is definitely making it seem as if the engagement JUST happened! Weird…
Ray’s sister Brandy also let the cat out of the bag while being interviewed by Wendy Williams; and y’all know how nosy Wendy gets –she digs, honey. Anyways during her sit down, Wendy asked Brandy, “is he really engaged to Princess Love?!” And Brandy said, “Yes!” She went on to say she called Ray the day before the show and was like look I’m going on Wendy tomorrow and she’s going to ask about y’all what do I tell her? According to Brandy, Ray confirmed, saying yes they are engaged and that’s what she is to tell Wendy.
This leaves people to wonder if the engagement in Love & Hip Hop was authentic or if it just took the couple a few months to show off the ring on social media. Well regardless of the reason, one thing is definitely a fact, the ring is flawless! It’s an 18-karat gold band from Leon Diamonds in NYC. The jeweler said once he took the band out of the safe, Ray knew that was the one.
