Just less than 24 hours after news broke that Celine Dion’s husband passed from cancer, it is now being reported that her brother Daniel has also been diagnosed with Cancer and has only a few days to live.
According to People Magazine a source said, “It could be any day now…No one knows how long he has. She had heard that he might pass on Tuesday but he seems to be holding on.”
Daniel is 12 years older than Celine and is one of her 13 siblings. We hear they all have a tight-knit relationship.”They’re close, she’s close with all of her siblings,” the source says. “It’s hard.”
Following her husbands death, she has already cancelled her Las Vegas shows and made tentative plans to return to the Colosseum for Feb. 23, according to People.
“Celine is still in Vegas with her kids making plans for [her husband’s] funeral,” the source told People. “It’s a typical grieving process. There’s moments of shed tears, moments of memories and laughter. She’s grieving the loss of her husband.”
