Looks like Rachel Dolezal has given birth to a baby boy recently and decided to name him fit for Black History Month recognition… Langston Attickus Dolezal.
According to TMZ, the former NAACP leader posted a picture of her son on Tuesday. She apparently named him after the famed African American poet Langston Hughes and Harper Lee’s “To Kill A Mockingbird” fictional character, Atticus Finch who is a lawyer that defended a black man who was being wrongfully accused of raping a young white girl. Ironically enough in Harper Lee’s new book ” Go Set A Watchman”, Finch’s hero-like character in To Kill A Mockingbird diminished to just a fantasy as he is portrayed to be a racist…. but we digress. Anyways TMZ also chalked up the extra “k” in Dolezal’s son’s name to her wanting to pay homage to the first black man to fall during the American Revolution… Crisps Attucks.
Dolezal has two other sons and the baby daddy of her third is still unknown but we are guessing he might just be African American seeing how much fun they may have had picking out baby names together. What do you guys think are we finally ready to forgive Rachel? Lets chat below!
