Here’s one for the great debate: should Tupac’s mom’s husband get a portion of the Tupac Estate?
So apparently Afeni Shakur and Gust Davis are calling it quits after 12 years of marriage and Gust is pretty adamant about what he wants to walk away with — including half of the profits from the Tupac Estate!
The divorce has reportedly been filed in North Carolina, one of those states where judges are not required to split property 50/50. Instead, they have the liberty to divide property on a case-by-case basis according to what they deem fair.
We hear the couple didn’t enter their union with a prenup and in the height of their marital woes, Gust has requested property, the right to live in their 50 acre NC ranch, keys to the houseboats, the Jag, and 10k/month from the money Afeni brings in from the Estate — that’s about half of what Afeni profits from it.
Afeni isn’t here for Gust’s alimony request though and has since filed legal docs asking the judge to throw it out!
