Adrien Broner, I didn’t knock that man out Judge!

There may be a reason Adrien Broner called out Floyd Mayweather, after his Friday night televised fight Friday against Ashley Theophane. The boxing champ appeared in a Cincinnati courthouse Tuesday, to turn himself in, to face felony charges for allegedly assaulting and robbing a man outside of a Cincinnati bowling alley on Jan. 21st.

Broners bail was set a $100k; there were two separate bonds of $50,000 for each charge he faces. Broner, alongside his attorney, stood before the judge and pled not guilty to all charges. The boxing champ, of course, posted bail and is due back in court next week.

According to court documents, Broner apparently got into a heated argument with a man outside of the Cinnicaniti bowling alley over a $14,000 betting dispute. Things escalated when Broner allegedly pointed a handgun at the man and then knocked him unconscious.

If Broner is found guilty, he may soon be boxing behind bars.
