Rachel Dolezal is still here for her 15 minutes of fame! First of all can yall believe she took that opportunity to solicit support for a new book she has in the works. But wait, yall, shes STILL in denial about the whole race scandal!
With that said, take a wild guess as to the book is about racial identity. Go figure, right?!
So #Roommates while she’s sitting up there with the anchor, Savannah Guthrie, she was asked if she regretted some of the things she alleged about herself that later proved to not be true; like claiming to be Black.
Um, Im not sure what youre referring to with that, but definitely I dont have any regrets about how I identifyIm still me, and nothing about that has changed, she said.
She actually went on to express how she doesnt wish, if she could, to change anything about how the scandal unfolded. She said she only wishes that she could have really owned the her of her earlier life and that it didnt take her 30 years to get to where she is now.
So about this book, that she by the way, doesnt have a book deal or agent for
Im just looking forward to getting back into racial and social justice work, she continued. If yall remember, she was forced to resign from her position with the NAACP.
So basically, this book is her avenue back into tackling race issues.
