Columbus Short just can’t seem to win these days. After his wife, or shall I say soon to be ex wife, Karine Steffans found out he was cheating, and kicked him out and that was the last we heard of him. Well Columbus is back in the news today because he failed a mandatory drug test and could soon be putting on shows behind bars as a result of his probation violation stemming from his felony assault case.
According to Page Six,
The “Scandal” star tested positive for marijuana and cocaine! Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Leslie E. Brown was informed about Mr. Short’s results and has ordered the star to appear before her on May 9 to discuss his results.
If you remember #Roommates, Short pleaded no contest to felony assault in September and was given three years of supervised probation, two months of anger management classes and community labor.
His problems began after he punched a guy in at a family function in 2014. This wasn’t a typical punch because Columbus ended up knocking the guy out and fractured his eye socket!
Columbus ended up paying the guy, Fenton Hyche III, well over $14k for the crime!
