#KimYe are reportedly steps away from taking some legal action against one of their former bodyguards, Steve Stanulis.
Apparently they aren’t happy with his dishonest tendencies and want to collect these coins on account of his unprofessionalism–$30 million to be exact.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Steve went to the press to discuss some experiences he alleges to have had while working for the Wests and according to his contract, there was a non-disclosure clause that he apparently breached.
Not only that, KimYe claims that all of his accounts of what happened while working for the couple are false.
A spokesperson for the couple told ET, “The West Family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in an desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense…This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tenet of decency with his story of lies. As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense.”
Steve claims that he was initially fired after a mix up about Steve asking Kim about a hold up with the Met Gala that got back to Kanye that Steve was hitting on Kim. He said he absolutely had no intention on disrespecting Kanye or his wife. But now, just a day after news first broke of the lawsuit, Steve is saying that he will gladly shut up…for the right price!
He claims that the couple still owes him pay from his last gig with them anyway so how can they be after him for anything? He also claims that he never signed an agreement with them to breach in the first place.
But according to TMZ, the security company that placed him with the Wests are apparently still waiting for his invoice paper work. So technically, his late payday is his fault.
This sounds like a sticky situations. Sad to say, the courts just may have to get involved now.
