<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The state of Georgia may be open, but COVID-19 guidelines are still in place. 2 Chainz apparently had his restaurant, Escobar &; Tapas, shutdown in Atlanta for failure to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Georgia State police drove by Escobar &; Tapas Restaurant and &#8220;noticed that the location was rather loud, busy, and occupied to be operating as a restaurant at that time of night.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Apparently Escobar &; Tapas Restaurant was so lit that the restaurant’s official Instagram account highlighted the festivities. People were not practicing social distancing, they were smoking hookah, and ultimately acting like the viral pandemic had just disappeared. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The guidelines for Georgia are limiting dine-in service to 10 patrons max per table and allowing 10 patrons inside per 300 square feet of public space, according to TMZ.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This comes weeks after the rapper faced <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/2-chainz-to-reopen-his-georgia-restaurants-for-dine-in-service-despite-the-communitys-fear-of-covid-19/">backlash for reportedly announcing</a> he was opening his restaurant, initially, after Governor Brian Kemp announced that the state of Georgia would open. Instead of doing that, 2 Chainz <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsr-positive-images-2-chainz-uses-escobar-restaurant-to-feed-the-homeless-instead-of-opening-restaurant/">opted to feed the homeless</a>. ” With the city reopening, we wanted to make sure we focused on who and what’s important to the city of Atlanta, the community, the people,&#8221; he said in a statement.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As you know, states all over the country are slowly reopening and hoping to return back to the “normal” way of life. While some people are now able to shop, get their nails and hair done, social distancing guidelines are still in place to help prevent and manage the viral pandemic.</span></p>
