2 Dead, 3 Injured After Shooting In Toronto Nightclub

Last night, as Drake and his OVO crew finished their 6th successful OVO Fest, they ventured over to Muzik nightclub where Drake hosted the after party. It wasn’t until around 3:30 this morning that things got violent.

According to the Toronto Star, someone fired shots at the bar and was taken into the streets, killing one man and a woman, seemingly in their 20’s and 30’s. Three other people were injured and taken to the hospital, but their injuries aren’t life-threatening, so thank God!

Police are uncertain whether or not The victims were targeted, but witnesses, as well as Deputy Police Chief Peter Sloly, felt that it was a bit odd that despite a heavy police presence, the incident still happened.

During his mid-morning briefing, he also told the press, “Our officers were present when the initial shots went off, they were within metres of the initial shooting, they continued to follow up as more firearms were discharged in the immediate aftermath.” Some of the officers even ran toward the shooting in attempts to protect potential victims, one officer even performing CPR on one of the shooting victims.

We really hope that the families of the victims are okay and that this shooting had nothing to do with hip hop! Roommates, do you guys think that this beef needs to stop or is it harmless? Tell us what you think in the comments!
