Probably less than 24 hours after the violent death of Alton Sterling at the hands of Baton Rouge officers, it appears to have been another police involved shooting…. this time in Minnesota.
Lavish Reynolds went live on Facebook just moments after what she claims to be another unwarranted police shooting. In the video, Lavish explains that an officer pulled her over for a broken tail light. Since her boyfriend was driving, the officer at some point asked for his license and registration. She goes on to say that her boyfriend had told the officer that he had a gun but he was license to carry…. his intents only to reach for his wallet.
He allegedly reaches down to go for his wallet when the officer told him to “Stop” and while trying to raise his hands back up, he was shot. She recalls about 4-5 shots being let off and states that her daughter was also in the car, witnessing the entire thing.
The nine minute video also shows the officer who shot her boyfriend standing outside of the door with his gun still pointed into the car trying to justified why he shot him. Back up had arrived and for some reason Lavish was hand cuffed as authorities “investigated” what was going on.
This video is definitely hard to watch so viewers discretion is advised. Our condolences go out to their families and friends. Black Lives Matter the question is when will it matter to them?….Lets chat below
