<p>Hey, Roommates! Do y&#8217;all remember when we reported on a story about a young man by the name of Freddy Barley who rode 6 hours on his bike just to make it to college in time for move-in day? He was found sleeping outside on campus and a woman named Casey Blaney decided to create a GoFundMe in order to raise money for his school expenses and for clothes.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, Blaney&#8217;s relationship with Barley has become strained after the student objected to what she wanted him to do with the money. Basically the woman wanted him to put it into a trust, but Barley said no unless he could choose the attorney and trustee.</p>
<p>Now, the teens past has been brought up as questionable and Blaney expressed her side of the story via Facebook. &#8220;Unfortunately, multiple questions have been raised about Fred’s story,” she wrote. “We’ve received conflicting information about his initial story. … We’ve asked for the campaign to be reviewed.”</p>

<p>Later, Freddy wrote a lengthy Facebook post in order to let everyone know that he isn&#8217;t lying about being homeless and that he&#8217;s thankful for a huge platform to spread the word of God&#8217;s authenticity.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve had so many people attack my intelligence, my life, my character , and even more important, my integrity. I have not lied to any of you, nor will I. I never told you guys I was a perfect student nor tried to portray it because I&#8217;m not. I fight and work my hardest even when no is watching. I&#8217;m pretty sure old teachers and coaches could attest to that. I never intended on being a role model for younger kids, or the nation&#8217;s feel good story ,but I&#8217;m glad God put the responsibility on me because it gives me a chance to say God is real to a much wider group of people. And I know it seems like everything good in the world , always aborts to bad, but with God by my side I haven&#8217;t been stricken by all the turmoil , it actually encourages me. A lot of people have been trying to tell me that my names is being slandered in multiple ways, it&#8217;s okay. I accept it with the most genuine love. I do not care to attack someone else&#8217;s character because that&#8217;s not how God intended the world to be. Whatever transpires between Casey and I, I want her to still know that I love her and forgive her. And Cole regardless of how your mom feels, you&#8217;re still my new adopted lil bro. I love you and hopefully one day we can trade Pokemon.And too everybody that truly supports me for being me , I thank you guys the most. I always had God in my corner ,but it feels good to know that I have part of a nation there too.&#8221;</p>

<p>So far, there is no update on GoFundMe&#8217;s decision, but keep your fingers crossed for Freddy, because he desires to be a doctor one day and will need every penny of that money!</p>
