Some of us may have felt the embarrassment of having their card decline while trying to ball out at a retail establishment. While the feeling may permanently scar some, others are able to laugh it off, just like Adele.
The singer recently shared with her fans that her card had recently declined at a San Jose H&M.
“I went to H&M and my card got declined,” the singer said according to Page Six. “Oh, my day’s pretty embarrassing. Nobody knew it was me, but I was mortified.”
Of course we knew it was at know fault of hers since she reportedly made a grand $80.5 million last year making her the 9th highest-paid celebrity on Forbes.
She also recounts that she was able to purchase things at Sephora before the incident happened.
Adele has been known for shopping at regular stores like Target all the time and even tells her fans why.
“They have everything!” she told the San Jose crowd. “I spent $100 on stuff I do not need, I never need anything I buy at Target but it’s amazing.”
