In an open letter to her fans, Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei announced that she is leaving Twitter due to Internet trolls that were cyber bullying her.
Earlier this week, Fifth Harmony fans accused her of taking too long to say something nice about fellow group member Camila Cabello in a Facebook Live interview with Galore.
She addressed the issue and said it was “a shame” that after four years of being in the group she had to address “foolishness manufactured by those that have absolutely no idea what’s going on.”

Trolls sent her extremely harsh and racist tweets, and she therefore wrote an open letter to her fans on her thoughts of the issue, and why she has decided to leave Twitter saying she knows that she’s “not the first black female celebrity to deal with this” and she’s sure she “won’t be the last.”
Her fellow group member Camila Cabello responded to the  hate Normani has been receiving by saying, “You don’t have to hate on somebody else to support me.”
