A mother in Iowa is making headlines across the nation after her two-year-old son was found home alone with their dog sucking on a frozen chicken breast!
According to Daily Mail, the mother, Hallie Amick, 30, is being charged with child endangerment. Officers found the boy in the backyard wearing a full, dirty diaper and T-shirt, and munching on a piece of raw chicken! The diaper was apparently so bad it was to his knees.. Fix it Jesus!
When police discovered the toddler they also spotted a small dog trying to grab the uncooked chicken out of the boy’s hands, according to WHO-TV.
When officers spoke the neighbor next day they said the boy is often left unattended.
Amick returned home nearly two hours after officers arrived, and she tried to tell them that it was the first time she had ever left him unattended, which they didn’t buy of course. She later admitted to leaving him alone sometimes.
Hopefully the little boy ends up somewhere where he can be properly taken care of.
