One of the greatest falls from grace was the story of former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle and his child pornography scandal. As if his crime wasn’t enough, apparently Fogle is now blaming one of his victims for his actions!
According to TMZ, Fogle is suing the parents of one of his victims because he feels that it is their fault why the teen has issues. Fogle and his former employee, Russell Taylor were accused of sharing her naked photos.
The lawsuit claims that the teenager became rebellious in response to her parents’ divorce, even siting that they frequently fought and drank alcohol in front of her. The effects from the “mental abuse” resulted in the Jane Doe having suicidal thoughts. He claims that she abused drugs and alcohol as well as herself through self mutilation.
It is reported that Fogle’s suit is an attempt to dissolve some or all responsibility for his actions while placing the blame on her parents. Ironically, the same parents sued him and Taylor earlier this year for emotional distress.
Fogle plead guilty to child pornography possession and traveling to pay for sexual encounters with minors and is now serving 15 years.
