Looks like Desiigner is the latest rapper to get thrown in the slammer after being arrested on guns and drug charges.
According to TMZ, Desiigner along with four other people were arrested in NYC after a driver called police alleging that the rapper had pointed a gun at him. Apparently, the driver of the other car had gotten into it at some point with the people that were riding in Desiigner’s SUV. The other driver was able to take down the SUV’s license number which helped police nab Desiigner and his friends a short time later.
When authorities stopped the SUV, it was reported that OxyContin and other drugs as well as guns were found onboard.
Desiigner, who’s real name is Sidney Royel Selby III, was arrested on felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing on top of being slapped with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell with the rest of his buddies. All charges are conside red felonies by the way.
All 5 are reportedly still in custody. Hopefully, this doesn’t turn into another Bobby Shmurda case. We will keep you posted but in the meantime let’s chat below.
