Last week, it was finally confirmed that #LadyGaga would be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in February, but another singer may be trying to give her a run for her money.
#TaylorSwift just signed a multi-million dollar deal with AT&T to headline the DirecTV Super Saturday Night concert on Super Bowl eve, which will also take place at the same stadium in Houston! Would she have made for a better choice anyway?
Well, the shade is that Taylor Swift has always wanted to perform at the Super Bowl, however, she won’t be doing that halftime show anytime soon, if at all and it’s all because of one of her endorsement deals. She’s sponsored by Diet Coke while the Super Bowl has always been sponsored by Pepsi. According to their source, the NY Post says that the singer has always wanted to play the halftime show, but for now she’ll have to settle for these coins from Coke. Still not a bad gig.
