Now it’s no secret that Mariah Carey is a diva but this just takes it to a whole new level! A couple of weeks ago Mariah and her fiancé James Packer called it quits but at one point the two were negotiating a pretty pricey prenup, enough to make you spill your tea!
According to TMZ, that prenup is out the window because Mariah found it “tacky and insulting.” In the provision it said, “James will pay Mariah, and Mariah shall accept, $6 million dollars per year for each full year of marriage, up to a maximum of $30 million … adjusted pro-rata on a weekly basis .” Apparently $30 million isn’t enough because she said he originally offered her $50 million if they marriage failed.
Now let’s get into this bizzare prenup!
Mariah is a millionaire so many would be surprised that James agreed to buy “certain clothing” for her but the amount he has to give her wasn’t disclosed. Also it states that Mariah will provide the clothes for her children.
Any spontaneous gifts that they decide to give each other that costs more than $250,000 must be accompanied with a written note saying “This is my gift to you.”
Now we know Mariah likes to fly in style so James also was going to provide one of his planes for Mariah to use, but only when he says so!
