Last Tuesday, #ScreamQueens actress #BillieLourd lost her mother, Carrie Fisher, and then her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, the following day. We all know it’s tough losing loved ones but Lourd says the support she’s been receiving is what’s really getting her and her family through such a difficult time.
“Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,” Lourd wrote on her Instagram. “There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.”
Fun fact, many of us who are fans of Scream Queens are aware that Lourd’s character, Chanel #3, wears earmuffs. What you may not have known this entire time is that the earmuffs are actually a tribute to her mother who played Princess Leia in Star Wars. Chanel #3’s earmuffs bare resemblance to the Princess’s iconic hairstyle.
