When word of Meek Mill’s breakup with Nicki Minaj hit the streets many people pointed the fingers at the rapper alleging that he cheated with a boutique owner named Sonye Rasool.
Well, reports later slammed the rumors saying that the breakup happened after the former couple got into a huge argument while they vacationed in Turks and Caicos for Nicki’s Birthday. Apparently, Meek wanted to hang out with his bros rather than his lady and when the Queen barb called him out on it, Meek left her on the island in retaliation putting the icing on the cake.
Welp, even though the cheating heat has died down, Sonye may be seeking revenge for the rumor that almost ruined her reputation.
According to the Jasmine Brand, Sonye wants to file a defamation lawsuit for the people who put the rumor in circulation.
The boutique owner does come clean about her dating history with the Philly rapper but says it happened way before Omeeka became a thing.
