<p>This year Kanye West was nominated for a total of six Grammy Awards, but unfortunately he was not at the award show.</p>
<p>His longtime friend and collaborator, Malik Yusef, attended the show as he was nominated for his work on both Kanye and Beyonce’s latest projects.</p>
<p><em><a href="http://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/Malik-Yusef-Interview-2017-Grammys-43161021">Pop Sugar</a></em> caught up with the producer, and asked him for an update on Kanye West.</p>
<p>He said, “I’ve been to his house, sat down with him for about six, seven hours, just walking through his health and recovery. His memory is coming back, which is super good.&#8221;</p>
<p>He continued, “He’s just healing, spending time with his family. Saint is getting big and is walking, playing with toys, so that invigorates him.”</p>
<p>He also revealed that Kanye is currently not working, but going through &#8220;processes.&#8221;</p>
<p>No further details about his condition were discussed. Nonetheless, Kanye has been spotted out in better spirits numerous times since being released from the hospital.</p>
<p>Late last year he was hospitalized for &#8220;temporary psychosis&#8221; caused by dehydration and sleep deprivation.</p>
<p>It’s great to hear that Kanye’s condition continues to get better.</p>
