Looks like a Pensacola Waffle House may have to dish out some extra coins for one of their former customers after staff lied to police about a “dine and dash” that never happened.
According to TMZ, William Edmonson Jr. says he went to the famous chicken and waffles restaurant with his son back in October 2015 but was disgusted by how the cooks were handling his food. Apparently, his burger order was botched when cheese was added and instead of getting a fresh patty, the cook allegedly took the cheese off with his bare hands and put the burger back on the grill.
Edmonson was so disgusted he took his son and left without ever pay or receiving any of his food. This upset the staff so much they tried to get homie arrested after falsely reporting that he walked out on the bill but luckily for William he was already long gone.
Well, too bad for William, police later caught up with him months later and arrested him on theft charges. Thankfully, surveillance video backed up William’s story and he was let go but now before he slapped the establishment with a big fat lawsuit!
He is suing for an unspecified amount of money but word on the street is it’s for big bucks.
