What In The Rapture! Wisconsin Company To Be The First In The U.S. To Implant Microchips In Employees!

#ThreeSquareMarket, a technology company out of Wisconsin, is set to be the first company in the U.S. to install microchips in its employees! Apparently, the chips are the size of a grain of rice and will allow employees to scan themselves into the building and purchase food items using #RFID or Radio-Frequency Identification technology. According to a statement from the company, “within seconds,” the chip can be implanted between the thumb and forefinger.

In a company statement, CEO Todd Westby explained the vision that he sees for the use of this RFID technology and insists that it will become standardized.
“We foresee the use of RFID technology to drive everything from making purchases in our office break room market, opening doors, use of copy machines, logging into our office computers, unlocking phones, sharing business cards, storing medical/health information, and used as payment at other RFID terminals,” he said. “Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc.”

Westby also mentioned that the microchip will not be a requirement and that it doesn’t include GPS tracking. Roommates, would you all ever submit to RFID technology for the sake of convenience?
