Last year Boosie said that his bank account was hacked and he was missing over $300,000 from his account.
A year later and authorities have reportedly identified the culprit.
According to TMZ, Boosie’s brother was reportedly arrested last week and booked on theft and fraud charges. Cops did say that the rapper’s account was hacked, but he didn’t know that it was reportedly coming from someone in his family.
According to the police report, Bossie’s brother Taquari Hatch made dozens of wire transfers to different people, who would then give him cash.
However, it all came to an end when Taquari posed as Bossie while on the phone with Capital One’s customer service but blew his cover when he mentioned his wife. Boosie does not have a wife, which reportedly resulted in them contacting the fraud department.
