It must be nice to have so much money that you don’t notice a couple million missing. But not for Marc Anthony, who just found out he has bee swindled out of $2.5 million over the last 8 years — according to TMZ.
Reports claim thatKyle Tessiero began working at a major New York City accounting firm back in 2007. That firm happens to rep people like Marc, Pharrell, and Drake.
Tessiero told prosecutors that he had instant access to Marc’s credit cards and bank accounts and did one thing — made what belonged to Marc also belong to him. With that instant access, he allegedly started racking of charges on Marc’s cards and funded a flashy life for himself at entertainment venues around NY.
How did Marc find out? An internal audit was done and revealed the account abuse. He was busted back in August. Fortunately for Marc, Kyle is facing up to 25 years behind bars and has been charged with first-degree grand larceny. Thoughts, Roommates?!
