As if Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan’s divorce couldn’t get any messier… it does!! Yesterday, you may have caught all of the shade Gilbert started to randomly throw his exes way and now know why!

Y’all remember when Laura Govan’s emails were allegedly “leaked” which had spilled tea on Mr. Arenas’ alleged STD problems? Well of course Gilbert denied that he ever gave Laura any STDs and slapped his baby mama with a libel case. Laura has since requested that the case be thrown out but too bad the judge had something else in mind for her because he also believes that Laura leaked the emails on purpose!
Bossip obtained official court documents about this messy ordeal andJudge William Fahey had this to say, “Her request to take judicialnotice is denied. Moreover, because of her discovery violations, thecourt has deemed that the defendant has admitted that she wrote anddisseminated the offending email, that it contained a false accusationabout STDs and that defendants intent was to publicly embarrass andhumiliate plaintiff.
Say what now!!!????
While in court, the ex-basketball wife, was interrogated with a seriesof questions about her personal life and her sexual partners. Ofcourse, Govan refused to answer any questions regarding that subjectbecause she felt that it was an invasion of privacy. Understandable.
But when she found out that she had been denied her request, sheproceeded to move forward and file an “anti-SLAPP motion” which wasquickly null and voided sinceshe and her lawyer, Michael Heicklen,missed the deadline to file it.
Bossip reports that the SLAPP motion indicates, “Arenas lawsuitshould be tossed because it was frivolous or malicious and violatedher right to free speech.”
The chances of Govan winning this case is slim to NONE and if sheloses she is going to have to pay Arenas big time! Word on the street is that bill will be awhopping $3 million.
