<p>It looks like it&#8217;s almost that time of year again as the nominations for MTV&#8217;s Video Music Awards (<em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/celebs-hit-the-red-carpet-at-the-2018-vmas/">VMAs</a></em>) were announced on Wednesday. A number of artists have been recognized for their contributions to music over the past year, including Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Bieber who are leading in nominations.</p>
<p>Megan has a total of six nominations. She and Cardi B. are nominated for Video of the Year for their hit record &#8220;WAP.&#8221; The single has also been nominated for Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Hip-Hop. Justin Bieber earned a total of seven nominations, also including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Pop, among a few other categories.</p>
<p>This year&#8217;s VMA&#8217;s will be returning to New York City on September 12th and will be taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.</p>
<p>Fans are now able to vote between now and September 3rd for their favorite artist across a total of 14 categories.</p>
