Britney Spears & Her Team Reportedly Filed A Police Report
According to TMZ, the alleged incident went down on Wednesday night (Jul. 5) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specifically, it reportedly unfolded while Britney and her husband — Sam Asghari — were at the CATCH restaurant located within the ARIA Resort & Casino.
The outlet reports that Britney spotted and approached Victor as she entered the establishment. She allegedly attempted to tap the NBA star on the shoulder to get his attention for a photo.
Immediately after, Damian Smith — the Director of Team Security for the Spurs — is accused of backhanding Britney Spears. The incident allegedly knocked the “Gimme More” singer’s glasses off and caused her to fall onto the floor.
Afterward, Britney reportedly went to her table, where Damian allegedly moseyed over and offered an apology.
According to TMZ, the security guard told Britney Spears, “You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans.” He’s also accused of admitting that he was unaware that Britney was the fan in question.
Ultimately, her security team is noted as having a discussion with Damian Smith before filing a police report that same evening.

Eventually, an eyewitness named Brian Grajales detailed the matter while chatting with TMZ.
Brian says Britney approached Victor while feigning a British accent and repeating, “Excuse me, sir.”
She eventually “infiltrated her way into his circle,” and—once she touched Victor—the witness says the security guard “slapped her across the face and knocked off her sunglasses.”
He added that Britney, with her fake British accent, reacted by screaming, “This is f**king America!” Brian also noted that Britney Spears yelled this with an “angry tone.”
