Just when you thought the Nicki Minaj and Safaree feud was over, Safaree comes right back with a jab… to Nicki’s pockets!
According to TMZ, Safari is coming for a big Nicki payday by slapping his ex with a lawsuit over the work he did for her! The lawsuit states that he wants his cut from three of Nicki’s most successful albums which are The Pink Print, Pink Friday and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, but thats not all!
Not only does he want his share from those albums, it is reported that the rapper wants money from her biggest songs also! “Only” featuring Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne, and her two remixes for Beyonce’s “Flawless” and “Feeling Myself” are amongst the songs he is looking to come up on.
In his defense, Safaree says the proof was in the pudding when Nicki gave him executive producer credit for her first two albums. His evidence also includes witnesses, taped studio/recording sessions as well as footage of him helping Nicki.
And it looks like Safaree aint bluffing either, TMZ tells us that Safaree has lawyer ready to go and that a “lawsuit is imminent.” Sheesh, its so hard to let go! Lets chat below, is Safaree just being petty or does he have a right to her cash?
