Sheesh guess what former Subway hero (no pun intended) has just been sentenced to 15.6 years in prison…Jared Fogle!!
According to TMZ, Judge Tanya Walton Pratt really stuck it to him because the sentence he was given is definitely more than the plea that was first offered, which was 5 to 12 1/2 years. Fogle took a big risk by pleading guilty after he thought his “mild pedophilia” could be blamed on his sudden weight loss and in return he would get a reduced sentence.
An expert on sexual behavior was also called in to testify on his behalf stating that Fogle’s compulsive eating disorder had turned into hyper sexuality disorder once he loss the weight….yea okay! Not only did they try it with that, Fogle’s lawyers argued that he should get 5 years because all 12 of his victims were close the legal age because they were 16 and 17.
Unfortunately for Fogle, The Judge in the matter did not have to comply with Fogle’s plea deal and now he’s required to at least serve 85% of his sentence which is about 13 years….but wait it doesn’t end there! When Fogle gets out which would probably be around 2029, he has to submit to a lifetime of supervision.
Welp, hopefully by the time he’s 51, he would have learned that lesson! Talk about a fall from grace! Lets chat below!
