Good news! ABC has renewed all of your favorite shows for another season.
Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Grey’s Anatomy and Black-ish plus a lot more will all be returning.
Channing Dungey, the new entertainment president of ABC, is the first African American woman to head a major broadcast TV network and she told Variety that they are very proud of their strong performers. She says they’re excited to see what they bring creatively next season.
Shonda Rhimes took over Thursday night television with her #TGIT programs and things haven’t been the same since. Social media is in a frenzy every week to see what’s going to happen next. Black-ish broke news and even got presidential candidates talking about its message on its police brutality episode where it narrowed in on how black families handle the reality of America today. ABC has perfected diversifying itself and the reaction has and probably will continue to be great.
Other shows like Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, Quantico and Dancing with the Stars will also be returning. We can’t wait to tune in next season!
