Looks like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian will be live to record another conversation for another day! Thats because word is the couple may get off the hook for their Taylor Swift stunt!
According to TMZ, new info has come out where it seems as though the the blonde singer could’ve had a case but then again she had “no expectation of privacy” to begin with. So what does this mean exactly??
Well, Taylor apparently knew other people were listening to her conversation with Kanye, one person being producer, Rick Rubin. TMZ got ahold of the full tape and its clear that she knew she was on speaker throughout the conversation as Mr. Rubin often chimed in. It was also reported that other film crew members were also present during the call.
So with that being said, under California law, it is only illegal to secretly record someone’s conversation only if the conversation was meant to be confidential. Since Miss Tay knew her conversation could be overheard by others it rules out any possibility of a lawsuit!
In others words, The Wests are unf*ckwitable. Lets chat below!
