Angie Martinez has been one of the most popular radio personalities for more than 20 years, but now she is taking the steps to add on to the next phase of her career.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Martinez recently inked a deal with Edemol Shine, which is a media company that is responsible for producing and distributing entertainment content.
She has signed on to help develop TV projects that are both scripted and unscripted for traditional and digital platforms.
Martinez expressed her excitement for the new deal; “Working with Endemol Shine is an exciting first step for me in defining the next phase of my career. I’m looking forward to using my voice and platform to develop content that authentically speaks to the culture.”
Endemol Shine North America’s Abrego added, “Angie is undeniably one of the most influential personalities in pop culture. We’re thrilled to be in business with her and we’re already developing a handful of original, ground-breaking, projects with Angie and the team at Major TV.”
