As Y’all know, there has been talk of rebooting many of our favorite ’90s television shows, like Sister Sister, and even possibly Martin. How would y’all feel about a reboot of ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ but with a female lead — The Fresh Princess!
According to TMZ, trademark applications have been filed to secure the rights to “Fresh Princess” for a television program and ” virtually every other media platform.” NBC Universal, the company the owns the right to ‘Fresh Prince’ is also trying to put the name on clothing, bags, animal collars, and backpacks.
As of now, there is no confirmation whether or not Will Smith or any of the other cast members will be participating. Will Smith gave us a baby teaser of a cartoon version of the cast of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. As far as the princess goes, the waiting game has officially begun!
