#TreySongz is reportedly headed for another legal battle against a Detroit cop who claims the singer punched him back in December 2016!
@TMZ_Tv reports that Sgt. Robert Avery says he was working one of Trey’s concerts at the Joe Louis Arena on December 28, 2016 when Trey said, “if a n**** cut me off I’m goin’ the f*** crazy” during his performance. He allegedly said this because the venue turned the lights off after the concert went over the allotted time.
In a video that was released, Trey was seen tossing equipment off of the stage. He also jumped off the stage and allegedly hit a photographer with a microphone stand.
After attempting to take Trey into custody, Sgt. Avery claims that the singer punched him with a closed fist which caused him to fall to the ground and hit his head on concrete. TMZ reports, “He allegedly suffered visible bruising and swelling to his right temple, as well as a contusion to his left forehead,” plus the man hurt his hip.
While all of that went down, Avery alleges that Trey made hateful comments toward him such as “F*** you cracker. White motherf******. F*** all you honkeys and f*** the police.”
Trey was arrested and charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and aggravated assault. He also pled guilty to 2 counts of disturbing the peace.
