Yesterday Faith Evans and Stevie J caught everyone by surprise when it was announced that they were married. Even their own family and friends were surprised to learn about their nuptials.
According to TMZ, family sources reportedly revealed that the couple didn’t even give anyone a heads up that marriage was even on their radar. Faith was in L.A. preparing for a trip to London, and Stevie was in Atlanta for LHHATL, so the trip to Las Vegas shocked everyone.
The source also added that Faith’s son, CJ Wallace is reportedly upset about it all, especially since he’s Stevie’s godson.
Faith told her loved ones that Stevie went to her Tuesday and told her they needed to get married that day. The source thinks that if Faith told her family and friends, they would have tried to talk her out of it.
When her family and friends did hear the news, they were reportedly blowing up her phone asking about it and she just sent them her latest song with Stevie called “A Minute,” which explains it only takes a minute to fall in love.
