#Roommates, when it rains, it pours! And things are looking worse and worse for actresses #Felicity Huffman & #Lori Loughlin (better known as #AuntBecky from #FullHouse).
If you’ve been keeping up with the news, then you know that both women were busted for reportedly taking part of a nationwide college bribery scheme. The latest updates have been both of Lori’s daughters have dropped out of #USC. Just one of the many schools implicated in the scandal but NOW, an Oakland mom is hitting Felicity and Lori with a $500B suit!
This mom skipped right over the millions and said she needs her billions #Roommates! According to @Deadline, the class action lawsuit by the enraged mom was filed in San Francisco County Superior Court this week and accuses the defendants of inflicting emotional distress, civil conspiracy and fraud!
In the suit, the mom maintains that she raised her son #Joshua to have good work ethic, made sacrifices and claims he had a 4.2 GPA when he graduated from high school. He applied to some of the colleges implicate din the scandal but didn’t get in. Once the mom heard about what went down, she felt the entire situation robbed her son of an opportunity. And ultimately changed the course of his life!
The Los Angeles Times reports that, the mother said: “Joshua and I believed [sic] that he’d had a fair chance just like all other applicants but did not make the cut for some undisclosed reason. I’m now aware of the massive cheating scandal wherein wealthy people conspired with people in positions of power and authority at colleges in order to allow their children [sic] to gain access to the very colleges [sic] that Joshua was rejected from.”
Other colleges that have been mentioned in the scandal include Stanford, UCLA, USC, Yale just to name a few. The craziest thing about all of this is, if one mom feels that way. I’m sure there are more!
