Rihanna has not come to play with y’all at all! In her years as an artists, she has branched off into many different parts of the industry including beauty and now, fashion. She founded Savage x Fenty back in 2018, and has not taken her foot off of necks since!
Now, Rih is taking Savage x Fenty to Amazon, making it the only retailer to carry her exclusive collection of affordable and sexy bras, underwear, sleepwear, and loungewear. The brand’s undergarments and sexy lingerie are now included in Amazon’s free two-day shipping for Prime members.
Prime members will also be able to watch the Savage x Fenty New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019 fashion show on Amazon video on Sept. 20. The show, which was filmed on Tuesday, includes some of your fav celebs including Normani and 21 Savage.
When Rihanna introduced her collection to the world, she made it clear that her mission was to change a space that has historically lacked representation, and to celebrate confidence and inclusivity for all shapes and shades of women.
Savage x Fenty has grown tremendously since 2018, and is showing signs of becoming one of the largest lingerie retailers of the time. Recently, Victoria’s Secret announced it will be closing a large portion of its stores, as well as canceling it’s annual fashion show.
Many have come to criticize big brands like VS for their lack of representation and inclusivity, causing a dissatisfied customer based, dwindling sales, and viewership. Shoppers are also not satisfied with their hiked pricing, ranging anywhere from $35 to $60 for one bra.
Both Savage x Fenty and Amazon announced the collaboration in Instagram posts following Rih’s fashion show. Fans and celebs alike are waiting for the new collection anxiously, as Rihanna has not disappointed yet!
