Earlier this month, social media practically exploded when video showed Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, girlfriends of currently incarcerated R. Kelly, physically fighting each other on Instagram live. Following the fight Joycelyn was arrested—and now her mugshot has been released.
In Joycelyn’s mugshot, taken after she turned herself in to the Chicago Police Department, she appears sad and drained from the physical encounter with Azriel. She is currently charged with misdemeanor battery for the fight that took place at R. Kelly’s condo at Trump Tower in downtown Chicago.
During the fight shocking claims were revealed, as Azriel alleged that Joycelyn had sex with her while she was still a minor. Both women are two years apart in age. As of right now, it’s unclear if Azriel plans to take legal action against her due to those claims. It seems highly unlikely though because following the fight, Azriel asked everyone to “pray” for her because she is a victim.
As we previously reported, Azriel has ended her relationship with R. Kelly, moved out of his Chicago condo, purchased a home of her own, reunited with her estranged family and reportedly plans to seek counseling treatment.
Joycelyn is currently the only visitor that R. Kelly has as he continues to remain behind bars. His legal team is using his limited family and friend connections as reasoning for him to be released on bond. He has been in jail since last year. She is due back in court on January 31st.
