Another day, another magazine cover, Roommates—and this time SZA, Megan Thee Stallion and Normani are taking center stage. The ladies are on the cover of the March issue of ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine dripping with both #BlackGirlMagic and Girl Power rolled into one.
Some magazine covers are more than just a photo, they become a pop culture moment—and perhaps SZA, Megan Thee Stallion and Normani have just revealed their “moment.” All three ladies are on the cover of March’s ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine, titled “The Takeover”—which is possibly a statement on the trio’s rising popularity within the music industry.
Beginning with SZA, who has kept an extremely low profile since the release of the 2017 debut album “CTRL,” the issue will provide fans with an update on her new music. She recently has been recording her highly-anticipated new album in Hawaii, which is slated to be released sometime this year and includes a song with Megan.
As for Megan Thee Stallion, she had a huge year last year after dropping her debut album “Fever” which included the hit single, “Hot Girl Summer.” She is currently featured on the soundtrack to the all-female led action film “Birds Of Prey.”
That brings us to Normani, who delighted fans when she dropped her hit single “Motivation” last summer. She too, is featured on the current “Birds Of Prey” soundtrack and plans to drop her debut album later this year.
We’ll know more about what the ladies are up to when the issue is released digitally and hits newsstands on March 3rd.
