Roommates, we ask that you keep Jeremih in your prayers following news that he is fighting for his life after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
According to TMZ, Jeremih is currently in the ICU and on a breathing ventilator while he’s being treated. Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Jeremih has gotten worse.
Word first got out about Jeremih’s condition when Hitmaka took to Instagram to ask fans for prayers for his friend, though he didn’t specify what was going on.
Then 50 Cent, who has collaborated with Jeremih before, also took to his IG to ask for prayers for his boy. While Hitmaka’s post was pretty vague, 50 shared that Jeremih was, in fact, battling a Covid diagnosis and that Jeremih was not doing well.
It wasn’t immediately clear how long he’s been in the hospital or how long he’s had the virus but it is clear that his condition is quite serious.
Prayers and well wishes for Jeremih started to flood social media, from both celebrities and fans alike.
Chance The Rapper, who hails from Chicago like Jeremih, also sent a message of love and prayer to his friend.
“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him,” Chance tweeted.
