As previously reported, rapper Twista was twisted up in some backlash after he reposted a viral post that featured the images of actress Gabourey Sidibe and model Bernice Burgos.
Their images were accompanied by some details that were not factual to their personal lives, but their images were used to pretty much compare two different kinds of women. Gabourey made sure to tell Twista how she really felt after seeing his post and told him, “Wow I um…gee. Twista I only like you as a rapper I forgot about in 2005. But good luck with option B!”
Now Bernice Burgos has responded to Twista about the post and she wasn’t here for it either.
Bernice said, “At the end of the day when women are winning in every aspect of the game…what do you gain from trying to divide us? Hope your 15 minutes of clout was worth it!”
As we previously reported, Twista apologized for the post and said that it was an honest mistake.
He said to us in an exclusive statement, “My apologies to anyone that took offense to it. I was traveling most of the day when I saw the mistake, I immediately had it taken down. I don’t know her directly but my sincere apologies to her.”
