Roommates, DaniLeigh is certainly not having the best week, thanks to her highly controversial new song. The Internet lit up when DaniLeigh dropped a new track called “Yellowbone,” where she sings about her man wanting her because she’s lightskin—following the intense backlash that is still going on, she seemingly deactivated her Twitter account.

DaniLeigh is used to being at the center of criticism from social media, as her relationship with DaBaby has definitely garnered her a fair share of online trolls who let her know consistently that they are not here for the relationship. However, she had never really done anything to warrant most of the hate she got…until now.

In a puzzling move that makes you question where her team was, DaniLeigh decided to drop a song called “Yellowbone” that many believe to be rooted in colorism, as the basis of the track is all about how her man desires her because of her light complexion.

Well, now it appears that things became too much for her because if you try to search her on Twitter, her account is currently deactivated. Before she deleted her account, she did offer an apology of sorts in a series of tweets.

As we previously reported, DaniLeigh said she made a song for her “light skin baddies” and wasn’t hating on anybody else.

“Why I can’t make a song for my light skin baddies?? Why y’all think I’m hating on other colors when there are millions of songs speaking on all types…why y’all so sensitive & take it personal gahhhh damn,” she wrote in her comments underneath the post.
