Four days following Tessica Brown’s viral video explaining that her hair has been stuck in a braided ponytail for a month after using Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray, the company broke their silence and released a statement on their Twitter account. The company, which is based in Sharonville, Ohio, wrote a lengthy message.

“We are aware of the situation, and we are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. This is a unique situation because this product is not indicated for use in or on hair as it is considered permanent. Our Spray Adhesive states in the warning label, “Do not swallow. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing…”

The statement continued, ”It is used for craft, home, auto, or office projects to mount things to surfaces such as paper, cardboard, wood, laminate, and fabric. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment from her local medical facility and wish her the best.”

Tessica’s video has gained over 5 million views on our page alone and has many people concerned for her wellbeing. Over the weekend, she shared a photo on the ‘gram of her in the hospital looking for a solution to remove the product. It appears as though she received sterile water and MediChoice brand nail polish remover pads to use in her hair. Tessica then shared a video of her friend attempting to remove the adhesive from her hair by using the products.

Tessica has been receiving lots of support on her newly verified Instagram page and through her GoFundMe account. Earlier today, she shared a message on her page thanking everyone that’s been praying for her. She stated she’s sending everyone who comes to her page a virtual hug.

Let’s continue to keep her uplifted in prayer.
