#Roommates, Tessica Brown (also famously known as ‘Gorilla Glue Girl’) has officially gathered her legal team to stop a content creator from gaining fame and fortune by using her voice without her permission. If you’re active on social media, you may have heard the viral hit song ‘Bad Idea’ created by Cocoa Brown, which uses audio of Tessica Brown’s voice saying “my hair, it don’t move” from her incredibly popular Gorilla Glue mishap video that captured the nation earlier this year. She has now filed a cease and desist to get the song removed.

@TMZ_TV reports, courtesy of her attorney Jeffrey R. Klein, Tessica Brown has sent a handful of cease and desist letters to the creator of the ‘Bad Idea’ song that features her voice, and to various social media platforms and streaming services to officially get the song taken down. The song has already been removed from TikTok, Instagram Reels, Apple Music and Spotify, however, apparent creator Cocoa Brown is the main target of the cease and desist.

Tessica filed the legal documentation because Brown not only used her voice without permission, but is also profiting from it and not giving her any share of the funds. In the official court documents to Brown, the letter states “To the extent it becomes necessary, Tessica intends to seek the recovery of all penalties, statutory damages and punitive damages for such knowing infringement as applicable.” You may have seen several celebrities enjoying the song on social media as well, including Tia Mowry, Damon Wayans and his daughter, and Cardi B’s daughter Kulture. Although now it looks like the days of the song going viral are now over.

In other Tessica news, as we previously reported, she is currently pregnant and expecting her sixth child (and first with her fiancé) later this year and merging their family to include a total of 10 children.
