Congrats are in order to Issa Rae and Louis Diame who tied the knot in France over the weekend. Issa announced the news on Monday by sharing their beautiful wedding photos.
In true Issa fashion, she used a little sarcasm to share the news with her supporters.
She captioned her wedding photos and said: “A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawang dress.
B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed.
C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody’s Husband. Big thanks to @whiteedenweddings for being so gracious and accommodating and making this feel so real and special.”
Vera Wang confirmed that the nuptials are in fact real when she commented on Issa’s post and said, “You look ethereal. Wishing you and Louis continued happiness and joy in your new life together. Love your caption.”
Many other celebrities gathered in Issa’s comment section to send her their congrats.
According to E News, family and friends gathered in the south of France to see Issa and Louis exchange their vows. Details about the big day are limited, but some of the guests in attendance were Issa’s “Insecure” co-stars, Yvonne Orji and Jay Ellis, who shared photos of their looks from the event.
