<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The second of four officers involved in the death of George Floyd has reportedly been released from jail after he posted bail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">J. Alexander Keung, 26, walked out of the Hennepin County Jail Friday night after meeting his bail, which was set at $750,000, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Keung is one of the three former Minneapolis officers charged with aiding and abetting the second-degree murder of George Floyd. Derek Chauvin, the officer who killed George by kneeling on his neck, was charged with second-degree murder.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition to Keung, 37-year-old T<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/thomas-lane-one-of-the-former-officers-charged-in-george-floyds-case-released-after-posting-bond/">homas Lane was the only other ex-officer charged in George Floyd’s death to be released on bail.</a> Tou Thao, who also faced the same aiding and abetting charges, is still in jail on $750,000 bail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chauvin’s bail was set at $1.25 million.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kueng, of Plymouth, was working only his third shift as a full-time officer, according to his defense attorneys.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">About 8:08 p.m. on May 25th, Kueng and Lane responded to a call about a man using a counterfeit $20 bill at a place called Cup Foods.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The two officers found Floyd sitting in a nearby car, handcuffed him and attempted to put him in their squad car while Chauvin and Thao arrived to assist.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During George’s arrest, Kueng took his pulse and told his colleagues, “I couldn’t find one,” according to the criminal complaint.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chauvin kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for about two minutes after Kueng’s remarks, according to the charges brought against them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since George Floyd’s untimely death, global demonstrations against racial injustice and police brutality have ensued and police reform legislation has been proposed on the local, state and federal levels.</span></p>
