<p>Earlier this week ABC officially announced that the singing competition American Idol would be making a return to television on their network.</p>
<p>The show which was on Fox for 15 seasons, had a big grand finale last year, but now it is scheduled to make its return to television in 2018.</p>
<p>After the news broke, the number one question that came about was, who will be the judges on the show?</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="http://www.tmz.com/2017/05/10/kelly-clarkson-clearing-schedule-possible-judge-american-idol/">TMZ</a></em>, ABC is reportedly eyeing Kelly Clarkson to be one of the judges on the newly revised show. We all know that Kelly Clarkson was the very first winner of American Idol back in 2002.</p>
<p>Sources have revealed that ABC has expressed &#8220;serious interest&#8221; in getting Clarkson to be one of the judges. In return, Clarkson is reportedly also interested and her team is looking to clear her schedule during the time the show will be filming.</p>
<p>This time around, instead of traveling city-to-city, the auditions will reportedly take place at Disney World and possibly Disneyland.</p>
